Six friction surfaces and two large carbon friction disks give a massive drag surface area together with very smooth and powerful operation.

MULTIPLE DISK CLUTCH
The `multiple disk' clutch is insulated from the spool. It is ventilated and provided with double adjustment; the carbon fiber construction guarantees uniformity of performance in extreme heat conditions too.

CLUTCH LEVER: MAIN ADJUSTMENT
Thanks to the wide range of positions, the main adjustment guarantees sensitivity and precision. A stop pin prevents the spool being accidentally released and the line unwinding.

CLUTCH SCALE

BL: line breaking strength - * push the stop pin to override these positions.
 

PRESET
The pre-setting defines the work range of the clutch itself and sets the slippage strength: with the clutch lever on strike it will be 25% of the line's breaking load.
