Although this tool is usually bolted to a work bench you do
not have too do so. We simply hold the base with the other hand
while pressing down on the handle. This allows for storage when
not in use.
We use this tool in all our customer rigging and it has performed
faultlessly for many years and made thousands of rigs for anglers
around the world without fail. This will
be the last crimper you buy!
Adjustment via the tuning bolts is unnecessary as we ensure
that each crimper is accurately set to ensure firm locking of
brass, copper, steel or aluminum crimps/swages.

WHY
IS THIS BETTER THAN OTHERS ON THE MARKET?
The
BTS Bench Crimper has several advantages over others that are on the
market.
1. It was
designed and constructed to provide a life time of service and NOT made
to a certain price bracket.
2. Most other bench crimpers have
non-moveable jaws. These will become worn, making the entire tool completely
useless. Some will wear out within 12 months as poor quality metal is
used.
The BTS Bench Crimper has removable jaws
(which are described below) which allow for replacement quickly and
easily. While the jaws are able to be removed and replace once worn,
we have not had to replace one in many years.
3. The jaws sold separately
so you only have to purchase the size you require.

that is labeled with the jaw size and a silicon type gel is
supplied for holding the jaws in the bench crimper.
